About the Role:
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Animation Artist to bring characters, environments, and visual effects to life. You will work closely with designers, developers, and other artists to produce high-quality animations that enhance storytelling, gameplay, and overall user experience. The ideal candidate has strong artistic skills, a solid understanding of movement and timing, and experience with industry-standard tools.
Key Responsibilities:

Create high-quality 2D or 3D animations for characters, environments, UI, and visual effects.

Work closely with designers and developers to integrate animations into games and applications.

Develop animation rigs and ensure smooth character movement.

Collaborate with the art team to maintain consistent visual style and quality.

Optimize animations for performance across platforms.

Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas to improve storytelling and gameplay.

Troubleshoot and polish animations based on feedback and testing.
Required Skills & Qualifications:

3+ years of professional experience as an Animation Artist (game, film, or interactive media).

Strong portfolio demonstrating both technical skills and artistic creativity.

Proficiency in animation software such as Maya, Blender, 3ds Max, Spine, or After Effects.

Solid understanding of animation principles (timing, weight, anticipation, squash and stretch).

Experience with rigging and skinning characters.

Knowledge of integrating animations into engines (Unity, Unreal).

Strong collaboration and communication skills.
Nice to Have:

Experience with motion capture cleanup and retargeting.

Knowledge of VFX, particle systems, or procedural animation.

Familiarity with scripting for automation (Python, MEL, etc.).

Understanding of UI/UX animation principles.

Cross-platform optimization experience (mobile, console, PC).
