Job Title: Front-End (HTML/CSS) Developer

About the Role:
We’re looking for a pixel-perfect Front-End Developer who specializes in semantic HTML and modern CSS to turn designs into fast, accessible, responsive interfaces. You’ll collaborate with designers and backend engineers to ship clean, maintainable UI that works beautifully across devices and browsers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Translate Figma/Sketch/Adobe XD designs into semantic, standards-compliant HTML and modern CSS.

  • Build fully responsive layouts with mobile-first best practices.

  • Ensure accessibility (WCAG 2.1 AA) and cross-browser compatibility.

  • Optimize for performance (Core Web Vitals, CSS/HTML hygiene, image optimization).

  • Implement reusable components, style guides, and design systems.

  • Collaborate with backend/JS engineers on integration points and templating.

  • Conduct QA on multiple devices; fix layout and rendering issues.

  • Maintain clear documentation and contribute to front-end best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 3+ years professional experience in front-end development.

  • Expert knowledge of semantic HTML5 and modern CSS (Flexbox, Grid).

  • Strong grasp of responsive design and accessibility standards (ARIA, WCAG).

  • Experience with preprocessors or utility frameworks (Sass/SCSS, Tailwind or similar).

  • Familiarity with basic JavaScript for UI behaviors and integrations.

  • Proficient with Git and collaborative workflows (PRs, code reviews).

  • Comfortable working from design files and component specs.

  • Strong attention to detail and a “quality first” mindset.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with one or more JS frameworks (React/Vue) or Web Components.

  • Performance tuning (Lighthouse, Core Web Vitals) and SEO fundamentals.

  • Email-safe HTML/CSS and MJML (for marketing/transactional emails).

  • Experience with CMS/theming (Headless CMS, WordPress, Shopify, etc.).

  • Knowledge of localization/i18n and RTL support.

  • Familiarity with CI/CD and containerized dev environments (Docker).
